Well, Mopsy made it through. I just can't believe it, given how loud the sound was when the car ran into her. That little girl is like rubber and has more lives than a cat.
I picked her up at the ER Vet yesterday morning, took her to the regular vet for a follow-up, at which they said she looked better and could go home. It was a rough day yesterday for both of us - Mopsy was in pain, didn't want to go outside to do her business and couldn't sleep for more than 20 minutes at a time. However, she is her mother's daughter in that she certainly didn't lose her appetite in the accident. The little one ate a whole boiled chicken breast and a half cup of frozen greenbeans. That girl - she's an eater!
This morning she seems much better. She's alert, gave me kisses, barks when she sees people outside, did her bid-nez in the grass and continued to eat plenty. She's even bearing more weight on her injured legs!
Other than that, things have been quite since Wednesday...mostly because I've been playing nurse to the Noodle. I've had a couple of phone interviews, one which I'm really excited about. I'm also moving out of my current sublet into another one...long story, but basically the owner of the unit has decided she was going to go against our agreement so she could get someone in that is willing to sign a 6 month lease. Don't get me started.
All in all, things are looking up!
I need to give a shout out to my Chez Krass friends - they were there for me all through the trials and tribulations of Mopsy's accident and I couldn't have made it through it without them. A girl couldn't ask for any better friends!!!!!
